Proangiogenic activity in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid from patients with asthma.

Simcock, David E., et al.

American Journal Of Respiratory And Critical Care Medicine 176.2 (2007): 146-153.

Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid collected from subjects with asthma but not healthy subjects is functionally active in promoting angiogenesis in vitro. The proangiogenic capacity of BALF samples was investigated using the in vitro AngioKit assay and analysed with the AngioSys software.

The therapeutic potential of a series of orally bioavailable anti-angiogenic microtubule disruptors as therapy for hormone-independent prostate and breast cancers.

Newman, S. P., et al.

British Journal Of Cancer 97.12 (2007): 1673-1682.

Demonstration that STX641 and STX140 have considerable potential for the treatment of hormone-independent breast and prostate cancer. The effect of the compounds on in vitro vessel formation was assessed using the Angiokit and analysed with the AngioSys software.
